Staurogyne repens

Staurogyne repens is a hardy, low-growing plant ideal for carpeting the foreground of aquascapes. Its bright green leaves and compact growth create a lush, natural look. With proper trimming, it spreads horizontally, forming a dense mat. It thrives under moderate to high light and benefits from CO₂ supplementation but can also adapt to low-tech setups.
